What To Expect
If you want your world to come to a complete stop and recharge this cabin is for you. Situated between the Alaska Range and the Talkeetna Mountains this place is filled with wildlife, backwoods nature and breathtaking views. Nothing beats listening to the birds with the sound of the river and a slight breeze under the perfect amount of sun.
**This is an off-grid cabin. That means no electricity, no running water. Water is provided for drinking and washing. There is a 1.9 mile ATV ride in and out. On this trail you will be crossing the Middle Fork Chulitna River. Yes, it is just what it sounds like. Lift up your feet and just go with it. You will feel alive! During certain times of the year and depending on the river a guided walk in is available. Just inquire after you book. Also note that we are not fortune tellers so we will keep in communication with you a week before your stay if your requested walk in is a go.
**We would like to prohibit the use of bear spray. Bears actually like the smell of pepper spray and after the initial scare of it wears off they will sniff their way back to the source. That is why it will tell you to leave the woods after you use it. We do not have that luxury so we ask that you do not draw bears to our little slice of Heaven.
**Speaking of bears...the bears and the moose although magestic and beautiful to watch they will kill you. My husband and I are always armed. If that is your thing we do not mind if you are either. Just be advised so you aren't shocked. This is Alaska. You will probably see little old ladies with a .44 strapped to their hip while grocery shopping.
**During summer there is often a fire ban. Just check with us before using the fire pit.

Let us give you a no hassle wedding in the mountains. Let's be upfront. This is not the wedding for you if you don't accept that this would be a wedding in the wilderness. If you want power there will be the hum of a generator, There will more than likely be butterflies, birds, forest creatures, maybe even a moose or a bear that you will see. They tend to stay away from noise but you are protected.
What we will be offering for wedding season of 2023:
You can have your ceremony outdoors or indoors, There are many amazing spots with epic mountain backdrops for your wedding. We also will be finished with the construction of our little chapel on the hill. There is an ordained minister on site that you can conference with so that you get exactly the type of wedding you want. Religious, non-religious, whatever you wish.
Your accommodations are at the Boone Cabin. It is the original building to the property when it was homesteaded in 1985 by a man named Earl Boone. It has the best views. There is one other cabin that can house 4 guests comfortably but 6 if you don't mind squeezing.
In 2023 there will also be a restaurant and a bar in the top meadow. Catering is also available and onsite. There is a menu of choices for the perfect wedding meal. If you want something you don't see just ask. Our chef can probably have you covered. Contact us for a quote on this Mountain Wedding Package.

Wed Me Here Please: $1000
This package includes your choice of anywhere on the property with the officiant on site. You will get unrelenting access with the officiant to make sure you get the best wedding you could ever imagine.
We've Got It From Here: $900
You just want the spot and you have everything you need except for a guided ride or walk in. No officiant included. You just pick your spot and do your thing.
